After a long hard-work for many years in the past, Mukhiya Gurungs father was able to buy a small piece of land in Chhetrapati where he built a small house for his family. Chhetrapati lies at the border of Thamel, the main tourist area in Kathmandu with lots of little shops, restaurants and bars. After many years now, Gurungs family has been able to transform that small house gradually into a modern and cozy hotel with 50 rooms.

Today Mukhiya Gurung and his team have tried to set up their hotel as comfortable as possible with a large green garden, a spacious and sunny rooftop, and several quiet balconies at every floor. Most of the hotels rooms are decorated in typical Nepali and Newari style with wooden floors, wooden furniture and colorful details. Of course, there is a 24-hour guarantee for the supply of hot running water and electricity. But we also offer many other facilities which are well described in the services page.
